Thanks for your interest in the slow-medium old-time fiddle jam, Sunday, October 25, 2-4, at Franconia Community Church. Any appropriate old-time instrument (fiddles, banjos, mandolins, guitars, bass) is welcome to join us. Tunes are played together (no solos). If there’s enough interest, we can discuss additional meeting dates.
Suggested tunes we could choose from for the first jam:
- Angeline the Baker
- Ashokan Farewell
- Cherokee Shuffle
- Cripple Creek
- Kesh Jig
- Liberty
- Mairi’s Wedding
- Old Joe Clark
- Over the Waterfall
- Red Haired Boy
- Road to Boston
- Road to Lisdoonvarna
- Salt Creek
- Seneca Square Dance
- Shove the Pig’s Foot Further into the Fire
- Soldier’s Joy
- Whiskey Before Breakfast
If you want to share a different tune, be prepared to teach the tune and give the chords to the rhythm players.
